Rhubarb Republik proudly presents Juminas 2012 a/w collection:
The cut is simple, with focus on the detailes as Jumina always is. There will be toned colours with a splash of rasberry red, yellow ocher, and Jade green. Warm woolen garments, soft jersey, cool animal prints, Fairtrade cotton, soft and warm alpacka knits and POMPOMs, lots of pompoms.
Some accessories to take off and on will be important because you want to have your wonderful garment for a long time, but as a child you get bored and want a bit of a change. The pompoms can be used for many purposes and are so cool to style with.
You would want the child to retain their identity and stand out from the crowd. This collection is for all the children that love to be seen.
The mood of Juminas AW 2012 will be Fun, playful all anchored from Scandinavian traditions.
The Norwegian designer
Elisabeth G. Rognmo is the manager and designer of Jumina. She comes from Stavanger in Norway and she has 3 children that give her lots of inspiration for the work she does. Elisabeth is creative and environmentally aware, and puts quality a top priority, which characterize the clothes from Jumina.
The knits are handmade in Norway and the embroidery in some of the garment is in cross-stich, inspired from Elisabeths grandmother. She puts a lot of her own background in to the collection. The colours in this collection where inspired from her grandmothers photoalbum from the 70s.
Again have Elisabeth used her grandmother as her biggest inspiration. And she dedicate this collection to her.
All production is in Europe or made FAIRTRADE in India.
