Carbon Soldier – SS 2016
New Zealand based Carbon Soldier present their SS16 collection Flight of the Does.
Named in honour of the three little Doe brothers who flew half way across the country to model for us, the collection covers casual cool, to take me anywhere separates.
Unisex tees, in black with gold print detail, can be worn with shorts or bloomers. Throw on a unisex linen blazer for instant chic, or dress down with a cotton cardigan in chartreuse or pale blue. Shirts in floral or dove grey with filigree metal detailing, described by the tiny models as ‘golden armour’, mix beautifully with stripe or solid shorts.
Linen dresses in dove grey, blue and chartreuse, with divine detailing or whimsical bloomers and delightful tops are all able to team up with blazers or the ribbon enhanced coat in 100% linen. Separates in softest silver or pale gold are the perfect twirling attire.
The gold print angel wings, which feature on dresses, tees and a romper, are hand drawn exclusively by New Zealand artist Emmaline Bailey and have become a Carbon Soldier icon over the last 10 seasons.
The collection covers from ages 0-3mths to 8-9yrs and will be available from February 2016.
