Capture the Moment
The amazing Ígló just launched their SS 2013 Collection which is called “Capture the Moment”. Helga Ólafsdóttir, owner and designer of Ígló explains her new collection;
“I was inspired by children who love to play freely and spontaneously using nature as their playground. Through innocence, children express themselves in peculiar and unpredictable ways using their inhibited imagination to create their own playful world. This world continues to surprise and challenge the imagination of the adults.
I would like to invite you to the harmonious world of Ígló Kids that is full of surprises. I love to mix and match clothing, colours and patterns therefore our Spring/Summer 2012 collection is heavily influenced by nature. I used intriguing animals such as lions, wolves and bunnies combined with various patterns like stripes, bows and dots making the collection more appealing to children.
The colour mixes and shades I chose for this collection were gray and brown combined with bright colors. I used lime and lemons, sweet colors of strawberries and cherries mixed with flower print and romantic lace for the girls. Differently, for the boys we chose the color sky blue and gingham print.”
