Rhubarb Republik proudly presents the AW 2012 collection from Olivia and Ollie / Liv.
Olivia and Ollie/LIV is something that the young designer, Alexia Panza has always wanted to do. From flipping through her old family photos to finding new ways for little girls to dress, she was passionate about doing something different and meaningful to her lifestyle. (Just as Alexia did with her already established boys clothing line, Tom & Drew).
This line is a mixture of pieces she would gravitate toward when she was a little girl and young teen meshed with staples that somehow stayed in her closet throughout her entire experience of growing up.
She took her passion for children’s wear, her beautiful niece, Olivia and elements of her personal style icon, her great aunt Ollie, to create this timeless collection. Alexia’s goal was to design clothes that make young ladies not only look gorgeous but also feel gorgeous.
This collection is not filled with frills. Both lines (Olivia & Ollie, 2 years to 6 years, and LIV 7 years to 14 years) are refined sophistication for the young style icons in the making. Less is more and separates are a staple. Strategically chosen lines, curves and details were used to represent the process of growing up, from a little girl to a young woman.
