Carbon Soldier – SS 2019
Rhubarb Republik is proud to present the new SS 2019 collection from Carbon Soldier called “Stadium”.
Looking back at family photographs from the 1940’s, Carbon Soldier’s design team were inspired by how spectators once dressed formally to sporting fixtures in their best dresses, suits, blazers and hats.
The architectural linen pieces in this SS19 collection, feature embroidered nautical motifs, and teamed with a straw boater, would not have been out of place at the many maritime sporting events of their island nation.
Fashion and play expertly combine in the whimsical separates, with wide stripes a nod to the match day officials. The subtle
colour palette of the palest pink and blue, khaki, black, natural and white allow for unlimited outfit combinations.
Established in 2002 in Auckland, New Zealand, Carbon Soldier create lasting quality pieces for newborn to fourteen years.
